Crude Birth Rate per 1,000, On-Reserve, 2007

Notes: Crude birth rate for a given geographical area refers to the number of live births, in a given year, per 1,000 mid-year total population in the same year. The figures are for individuals registered to a Saskatchewan FN band and residing on-reserve. The figures do not include non-registered First Nations or non-First Nations that may be living on-reserve. Status Verification System (SVS) identifies on-reserve Saskatchewan FN from the Government of Saskatchewan Vital Statistics System (VSS).

Limitations: Although crude birth rates represent a measure of fertility within a population at a specific time, comparisons between populations with different demographic distributions are cautioned as there are no controls for age or gender.
