Crude Birth Rate per 1,000 persons, On-Reserve, 2019

3.7

Notes: Crude birth rate for a given geographical area refers to the number of live births, in a given year, per 1,000 total on-reserve population in the same year. The figures are for individuals registered to a Saskatchewan FN band and residing on-reserve. Registered Indian Status was determined by self-declaration in the Vital Statistics System. Population counts were provided by Indigenous Services Canada.
Limitations: Although crude birth rates represent a measure of fertility within a population at a specific time, comparisons between populations with different demographic distributions are cautioned as there are no controls for age or gender.
